The urban artist Julia Lool has been filling the walls of different neighborhoods in Valencia with black cats for years. From El Carmen, Cabañal, Benimaclet, Ruzafa... these little felines are witnesses to the passage of time and an artistic work that invites us to reflect on the present moment, to lift our eyes from the screen and focus on the only thing that matters: the now.
These pieces made of wood allow us to transcend street art to bring home the cats of Julia Lool, but don't be mistaken, no matter how much you have them indoors, their spirit will always remain free and streetwise. And maybe it will make yours a little bit too.
